There is a golden rule that says "knock on the door before you enter". I just came up with that. Some people haven't hear of that rule so here I am writing it.
Why should I?
The door is closed for a reason. Maybe I don't want to be disturbed or asleep. What if I'm swiping on tinder? It's called privacy.
When not to knock?
At the bathroom stalls in the mall! What am I supposed to say when someone does that? "Come in!"? Push the door, if its locked, move on.
Actually forget that, always knock. I once forgot to lock the door and someone walked in on me mid deployment.
